Hi! Welcome to my website.
My name is Jomar Montuya, but others call me joms which is why I named my site after it.
I’m a self-taught web developer and have been developing sites for clients for over 2 years now. Here on the site, you will find tutorials to teach yourself everything from HTML and CSS to ReactJs, NuxtJS, NextJs and beyond
I've been programming since my college days back in 2016, but it wasn't until recently (2022) during the pandemic that I started to delve deep into the world of web development and coding. And because of this recent transition, I'm fairly new to the game but with what little knowledge/skills I've gathered so far — along with the help of resources, my experience at work, colleagues and friends — I set up this website as a resource for others who are trying to get into the game or simply curious about what a web developer does.
I started out like most people, clueless, alone and determined to do whatever it took to learn web development. There is no secret recipe or magic pill that will make you a web developer overnight (unfortunately), but don't let that stop you from learning. Don't let anyone try to tell you to just give up because you're either not smart enough or you don't have what it takes.
